Sen. Mohamed Said Chute is the Senator for Marsabit County. He won election to the Senate of Kenya in August 2022 as a candidate for the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party. Before entering politics, he worked as a civil servant, managed aviation and water drilling companies, and earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Cumbria. He currently serves as the chairperson of the Senate Standing Committee on National Cohesion, Equal Opportunity and Regional Integration.
