Questions

How long is a provisional driving licence (PDL) valid for?
A PDL is valid for exactly 90 days (3 months) from the date of payment. If you do not pass your driving test within this period, you must log back into eCitizen and pay another Ksh 650 to renew it.
Do I need an "L" sign on my vehicle when driving with a PDL?
Yes. Any vehicle you are practicing in must prominently display red "L" plates on both the front and rear, and you must be accompanied by a licensed instructor.
