Questions

What happens to my active, valid visas when I renew my passport?
When you renew your passport, Immigration officers will physically clip or punch holes in your old booklet to deactivate it, but they will leave your valid visa pages untouched. Your old visas remain completely valid; you must travel with both your old clipped passport and your new active e-passport together.
How long do I have to collect my new passport once it is printed?
Once you receive an SMS or portal alert stating your passport is "Ready for Collection," you should collect it within 90 days. Passports left uncollected for extended periods are moved to secure central archives, requiring manual recovery requests to retrieve.
