A.S.K Central Kenya National Show started in 1968 at Ruringu Stadium and moved to Kabiruini Showground in 1997.
Elevated to national status in 2004 to serve Nyeri, Nyandarua, Kirinyaga, Murang'a and Kiambu counties.
