Questions

Can I apply for an urgent passport if I have a medical or educational emergency?
Yes. If you have an urgent medical treatment abroad or an immediate university admission deadline, complete the online process normally. Bring your printed eCitizen invoices alongside certified medical letters or official admission documents to the customer care desk at Nyayo House to request express tracking.
What is the legal validity period of an ordinary Kenyan adult e-passport?
A standard Kenyan ordinary adult passport is valid for exactly 10 years from its date of issuance. It cannot be extended; once 10 years pass, or if the visa pages are completely filled, you must apply for a standard booklet renewal.
